Speed limit
Hi All. I have 2016 535i X-Drive model. I am currently living in Germany but car is U.S. Spec. I took it to autobahn today and speed up to the end but it stops at 213km/h, which is equivalent of 130 mi/h.
I thought it was like at least 155 mi/h for speed limit. I have m-sport package as well. Is this normal? Thanks in advance. Han |

Yes that is normal as you have limited vehicle. If you need to go faster, and lucky enough in your country you can actually do so, we can flash your ECU giving you more power and also removing the speed limiter

I believe your xdrive US spec its top speed (limited) is 130-135mph , someone correct me if im wrong.

I think the sport automatic transmission bumps the limit to 155mph.

If you have the M-Sport package you get the higher speed limiter. Why? You got me there, maybe better tires? I just remember reading something that said with the M-Sport package the speed limiter is raised to 155mph.

M sport 550 is limited at 155 I do not know the limit of a 535 but I am sure it is the same, my E60 535 non M-sport did hit 155.
