Car decision 550i or m235i

Hello everyone I'm in the market looking for a new bmw and I've narrowed my choices down to either a 550i or the m235i and I'm not exactly sure which one to pick. 4 doors aren't necessary but the n63 in the 550 honestly sounds amazing but I feel as if the m235i would be the more agile car and would feel better in corners compared to the 550 and the more reliable option. The car is gonna be used mainly for daily driving. All opinions are appreciated thanks!

You've narrowed it down to 2 options and listed the main attribute that attracts you to that car. Are you buying new then it doesn't much matter for the first 3 years on the costs of maintenance and repair (550 will be more expensive to maintain as the miles get added on, all things being reasonably equal). If you are buying used, then supplying miles, age, etc. will help you get some opinionated analysis from other members.

I personally would opt for the LCI N63TU and then get it tuned. Very fun sedan and 57k miles is not bad at all as long as oil changes have been consistent

Comfort vs. performance, which do YOU want? I would go with the F10, cuz I value the extra comfort vs. performance capabilities that I won't use.

Good luck.

I would go with the F10 because my wife enjoys acceleration but does not enjoy being thrown around in spirited driving.

I had a m235i same time as my 535i. For a single car I’d take the 535i. Interior is on another level. M235i was fast but also got boring. Would be more fun if it were stick.
