Guys, I dont know how to call it but you know the base part that connect the side mirror to the door right? For some F10, it's gloss black, mine is matte black and I hate it. Is there anyway to make it gloss? Or any cover for it like those mirror caps people sell on ebay?

U can go with a carbon fiber mirror covers. Or take it to a paint shop and have them paint it.

I'd venture to say it's called the side mirror housing. What model do you have? I have the M sport package and mine is gloss black. You can check getbmwparts.com for part number but I'm sure they are all compatible just different finish

The mirror cover only cover the mirror, not that part. And yea I know I can paint it but trying to avoid the hassle of taking it apart. Tried to vinyl wrap it but because the shape and space...it's way too hard

You mean buy the gloss one from dealer and replace it? Mine is 2013 528 non M sport. Maybe thats why
