Time for a new trunk lid?
Damn it. Garage door chased me down the street and slammed into my trunk today. Argh!
Plastic bumper damage should be pretty simple to address. But this ding on the trunk may not be. Anyone had to replace a trunk lid? Do you think this can be repaired? What a hideous lapse of attention.

Stopped by a body shop today. It can be repaired, but the whole lid will have to be repainted. There is some bumper/quarter panel damage too. All in, more than $1,500 damages easily. I have a $250 deductible, so I'll likely have it all repaired and repainted.
A very costly moment of inattention.

There's a guy selling a carbon fiber trunk with a Vorsteiner spoiler for $500 bucks. All u have to do is paint it ur color. What is ur shop gonna do...bang it back together with bondo and call it a day? Id rather get a new one but that's just me.
