535xi vs 535i brakes

I tried searching for this but I couldn't find a definite answer. Does anyone know if the 2011 535i and 2011 535xi have interchangeable front rotors?

I have a question. I have a 14 luxury line 535 ixdrive and today I needed to brake hard from 70's MPH to almost someone's bumper. (Yes I was having fun with another car)

I have this car for 1month & came from a 11 x5 where the brakes could stop a train.. is it normal for these non M' to have shiiiity brakes?

When I got the car rotors were shot so dealer resurfaced the fronts with new pads all around. I'm not impressed with the brakes on this car

No, provided you have decent tires these cars should drop anchor like any other BMW. If you have garbage all season run flats it doesn't matter what brakes you have, you're limited by available traction.

I routinely -stand on- my brake pedal coming down from 120-130 screwing around with other cars on my way home. Hard stops like this leave a burnished patina on the rotor but it scrubs off speed like a champ.

Resurfaced rotors bite poorly until they are well and bedded in again. BMW has always been against turning rotors, many dealers just recently started doing it under warranty to save money. Your local dealer has placed profits above your life.

+1 on the above post. Braking has always been awesome. Of the BMW's I have owned and driven my biggest braking fear is when I stand on them is the person behind gonna runup my rear!

Thank you. I bought it from Prestige BMW NJ. Worst experience ever. Took delivery and literally made a UTurn because when I drove off n hit the brakes the car shook so bad.

This resurfaced sht has been on my mind since they did it.. I deal with ParkAve BMW for service and will make a appointment to fix this problem. They never let me down in the past
