My 2 cents are go with Carbon Black! I did on my 535I M Sport. I also have have black Mustang. I could care less about how hard it to take care of because both cars are only driven when the road is perfectly dry as well as the weather. Some say I have an issue but then again I love my cars; it is what it is!

Not against white but just love Carbon Black. I have a 61 VW Notchback that will be painted a kind of Off White. But on my 5 it had to be CB.

For the wheels, the secret is that since new, I always use Armor All wheel protector. It is fantastic. Nothing sticks to the wheel. I just rinse them, and maybe just a light cleaning with a microfiber towel. I can't imagine going back to cleaning brake dust infested wheels... gotta love AA wheel protector!

As for the wax, I use Meguiars Ultimate Paste Wax, and the Ultimate spray wax once a week to keep it fresh.

And finally, I have to say that it is a b**ch keeping it clean, but when you do clean it, it returns the favor by looking FANTASTIC. Well worth the effort!

Thanks for the feedback. I got CB 535 three days ago and I can clearly see it is tough to keep clean. I purchased Mothers wheel cleaner and Mothers Spray Wax -- to use after each wash. Just as an in between refresher. Based upon what you are saying, I will get the Meguiars brand Paste Wax to use as my main wax.

I had CB on my E39 M5, Jerez Black on my E90 M3 (which is similar), and CB on my 550i. It always elicits comments, mostly, "Is it black or blue?" to which I usually respond, "Yes".

Note the color shift depending on the lighting. That's A90, not sure it's still offered. Now they offer B90 (Dark Graphite II) which is not as shiny.
