Actually Stock 550i were dyno at 380 wheel hp. So you are pretty much stock.

You should get it check out.

People making assumptions by looking at the absolute numbers only have no idea what they are talking about.
Thank you Alextremo, Smash is hung up on stock dyno numbers without realizing that dynos vary and the main reason for a dyno is to calculate your gains.

Does anyone know how much power is lost between the crank and the wheels on the F10 550i?

Once we put the exhaust we will Dyno it again, I will then go to Stage 3 and do another pull.. Ill keep posting my results for you guys to see

This car is going to be incredible once we are finished with this project!!!

They do put down much more torque. The engine is simply not as underrated as the N54/N55.

The N54/N55 Vehicle Engine Power were Significantly Underrated from Factory with the help of basic bolts and the ability to tune up the boost levels to nearly twice the factory ratings allows those vehicles to generate that kind of power. That really shouldn't keep you down, the Power and the Torque delivery on the Twin Turbo V8 is just as intoxicating.

I love the car!! Thank you Active and Viral for the nice exhaust it sounds amazing.. Everyone including my wife loved the sound and the increase in power is very nice as well (see dyno)

Viral has my new set of Dinan intercoolers going to get installed first week of March while I leave on vacation, then soon after the Brembo Brake kit!!

Active Autowerke + BBS + Brembo + Dinan = F10 550i German Muscle Car!!!

Hello Everyone,

I would like to share some of the recent upgrades we have done to this amazing 550i yet again. We started off by removing the Avant Garde Wheels to make room for the 480MM Dinan by Brembo Big Brake Kit. For there the car was sent off to Braman BMW to get reflashed with the Dinan Stage 3 Performance Software and brought back to get our Active Autowerke Downpipes and dyno'ed.

Here are the results:

Thank you all for looking.

Wow - very nice numbers. Is the Dinan tune only (blue line) stage 2? Do you have a solution for the CEL caused by the downpipes?

Are these DPs "cat-less"?

And as Alextremo mentioned above, any solution for the CEL?

Do you have emissions inspection in your state? Would think that cel would cause a failure.

No, we don't have any software at the moment to turn off the CEL.

I thought when you install Dinan software, it takes away the CEL from the Catless DP's?

Unfortunately no.

This rules me out as we have annual inspections...

Dinan unfortunately does not turn off the rear O2 from the catless downpipes.

We are going to be working on a O2 Bypass in the near future for the F Series since the CEL is a eye sore

Keep us updated!!!

I assume this is a full exhaust (dp-back), not just mufflers?
