Sexy!

Only thing I would consider would be to powder coat the exhaust hyper black. It would look even more sexy.

Especially since the rest of the bottom of the car is various colors, textures and variations of black.

Car's looking really good!! I like the black exhaust tip idea from choad.... Maybe gloss black mirror caps or M5 mirrors as well! Looks great as is though!

Great find on the quad exhaust. Looks much better than tailpipes on one side. 400 bucks for a perfect looking axle back is a steal

Nice car and mods.

When the rear bumper was installed, did you have to change anything else than the bumper? There is an "adaptor" piece listed for the M-sport bumper that isn't present on non M-sport cars. Did you have to add the adaptor?

i got the e60 exhaust from ebay. however, i did not like the "fake" quad set-up so I went with Megan quad exhaust and vortex (resonator).

here's my exhaust build and watch post 13, Stacey David's review -

Wow I'm speechless. U are running the Megan exhaust on a 528? I didn't think that was possible. I really want to do this but I don't trust myself doing the prep work on the storage bucket.

in regards to the duals, i didn't like the "fake" dual set-up (remus, eisenmann, etc) and it look ricey on a M5 diffuser. the other big companies that have robust R&D such as meisterschaft and supersprint uses duals. check out these links:

did you watch the last 2 videos of my post. the gearz guy explained the difference type of exhaust and their characteristics. i am so happy with my vortex resonator especially when i installed the JB4.

i bought a slightly used 535 aftermarket exhaust. if im going to do it again, i will look for a used M5 exhaust with the vortex as my resonator. i think the issue of the other F10 N20 guys is that they cut the OEM resonator and fabricate a y-pipe. this i dont recommend.

Last night, trimmed the adapter (circled in red) in order to fit the M5 diffuser. easy task as long as you have the tools (dremel). below pic is an idea on how it looks like on stock N20 exhaust. final product, will look like the remus quad set-up in all-stainless (example below).

hi what did you used to hold the right exhaust to the chassis

i have an updated exhaust thread on my F10. i used a universal hanger and mounted on the exact mounting points similar to the driver's side. more important is to remove your right side "bucket" to accomodate dual exhaust. my set-up is Vortex and Megan dual exhaust

The VROD has a new brother, 98 Harley EVO Softail. I recently finished this Harley build.

VROD: fast and low but with a small gas tank (bar hopping bike)

Softail: comfortable suspension, easy tuning (carburated), and classic "Cholo" style with modern touches

both bikes have different personality and style. to be honest, the F10 has been sitting due to good riding weather

So you changed from the Ebay exhaust to the Vortex/megan setup? any rasp sound that might sound inappropriate for the BMW engine?

yes, I'm currently running the vortex/megan setup. no issues, no error. no rasp but deep tone. for loudness on a scale 1-5 (1 quiet, 5 loud), I would say 3.
