Ebrskih,
With the stock exhaust and my x-pipe, the sound was there, but not loud.
not very noticeable, compared to stock.
I will try a post some videos that i took before i did the exhaust.
they are just not so good lol.

ya man props, somebody had to take this step and lead the way. I just wish the aftermarket exhaust setups from companies weren't so pricey as I doubt I could weld my own exhaust together

What did You do with the vacuum hoses? Watch out for dust being sucked in, if You donīt close them properly!

Hey Emir

like I told you, I could only tell a very slight difference with the resonator removed/straight pipe installed. I think to be able to get a good, noticeable sound is that you also replace the back two mufflers like Edman951 did.

My Mercedes C350 made a big difference with just the X pipe. I was pretty surprised and disappointed with the outcome of my F10..... sigh.. total waste of $200.

Also can you post a straight picture of the rear so I can see how those mufflers stick out? The positioning looks a little weird from the top I just want to see how it looks from the rear, if you can

Took some picture the other day with my phone.

Since the tip i bought are straight, and the bumper is angled.
I installed my muffler on an angle to try and match the tip to the bumper.

I'll try and take another picture straight back and lower.

Can I ask a stupid question? What exact does the x-pipe do? How does it differ from anything else? Thanks!

I am actually going to redo my exhaust. Found a shop that is going to take out the straight pipe, put X pipe, 2 Magnaflow mufflers, and I am getting new set of slanted, Tapered tips.

hopefully, it will be done right this time.

I visited an exhaust shop couple days ago,
sincemy car is single turbo (535i), I am going to have 3.5 inch SINGLE pipe all the way out to rear diff area, and y-3" pipe it to dual vibrant mufflers and wual tip set-up.

there is no reason to do dual pipe all the way, because if you look under the car, there is only about 3.5" down pipe from factory, and then they dual it out...

again, this is only for 535i,

550i, true dual...all the way.

That's weird.... on BMW USA website, it says 535i uses 3.0 liter, 6-cylinder engine with TwinPower Turbo technology

My setup does drone quite a bit from 1500-2000rpm.
I have plans to make a new 3'' setup with resonance chambers.

But my setup sounds real good, keep getting people telling me how good it sound.
Yet its not too loud. perfect street setup. Just needs to get the drone reduced.
Personnally i dont like the load muffler anymore, i grew out of that i guess lol.

If I replace the center muffler with an x-pipe and leave everything else, will it scream above 3k rpm? That's what I'm looking for. 1 place I went to also recommended removing the resonators.
