Ran my car tonight for the first time at royal purple race park in Houston. Car is stock 2013 550i with the exception of Dinan stage 2. Best pass was 12.70 @ 111.87 with a crappy 2.12 60 ft. Should be able to hit 12.5 with better tires and launch. Been a while since I've hit the strip so I'm a little rusty as well. The tune seems to be working. The driver not so much lol.

that's a nice trap a lot higher than my Xi with same tune.

Thanks. I was happy with the results. Launching this car is really tricky. Tried several methods and got best results turning traction and dsc off and launching in 2nd at 1500 rpm. It's so quiet it's hard to tell whee the revs are.

ended up showing up at the track with a little over 1/2 tank of gas which I would get an "F" for fail...lol

otherwise running 93 octane, I ended up with a 12.403 at 110.23 which I was happy with...

Prior best at E-Town was a 12.65 so it was a big improvement.

Plus, I only got three runs spaced 1-1.5hours apart.

Nice run. It's amazing what xdrive does for your launch. You've got me by about 4 tenths on the 60' but suprisingly I'm trapping higher by almost 1.5 mph. Definitely seems like there are diminishing returns once you go past stage 2.

I totally agree.......Im on 21" wheels which also is why my trap speed is lower. If I ran with 20", i would be about 1/10 faster and probably 1mph faster on trap.
