Great wheels mgcyr, but the finish look rather dark for a tinted clear.

Again not knocking HRE at all but just saying high price doesn't always = best quality. Especially when you see people paying 10k for wheels nowadays.

Mine was Orient blue sedan with full ACS parts (show car). I know the green one and he also had the same wheels as me. Not sure about the clear coat but that issue plagued a lot of hre's back then.

We offer two different kinds of tints, one of them being lighter than this one, but it almost looks like Brushed & Cleared at that point. Every company formulates their own shades, tones, darkness, etc. and this is simply our rendition. I'd say it has definitely been our quickest growing finish, so we must be doing something right

We only use powdercoating, so regardless of it's a solid colored wheel, a Hand-Brushed & Cleared, a Hand-Brushed w/ Tinted Clear, etc. a powder clear was used
