Pic Request - F10 with 21s and H&R Sport springs
I finally lowered my car on H&R springs. Big Thanks to Joe and the crew at Performance Technic!!!
Next mod is going to be rims. Still debating on 20s and 21s. I think I am leaning more towards doing 20s since I think you need coilovers to make 21s look right. However I am still curious.... Does anyone have pictures of their f10s on 21s with H&R Springs. Please post them if you have them! Thanks, Jimmy |

You are in Cali so at least our roads are good and don't have the potholes and mess of other states unless you drive in LA a lot. But I had 20s for a short time and went back to 19s mainly because my wife drives it most of the time. The 20s were perfect for me, look, handling, etc. As Tulsa said above, cant imagine 21s. There are a couple of guys on here with them but unless they are really light weight, I am betting the ride will be severely compromised/a bit too rough. As you likely know, the lower the profile tire, the less tire there is to absorb bumps, irregular roads, etc.

- Still can't find out the rear offsets. Called COR numerous times. Most likely a 40..

Here are some more. Ride quality with the 21s and springs is just fine. It has the electronic suspension so it can be put in comfort, but even with normal it is very good.

21" is the perfect rim size for our cars. I used to have 20's and there is really no comparison. The ride in not bad, and 21's really compliment the drop with H&Rs.

I ended up going with 21s! Definitely the right choice for the f10. Ride quality isnt much different from stock. At least on California roads.

Ok, I stand corrected, those three cars with 21s look incredible. Not that I didn't think they would look good, just the ride issue. if the ride is good, then even better because they look great. Thanks for ruining my 19s Had convinced myself they looked fine, especially since the wife is driving it mostly.
