Hope everyone's summer is been great!
I've been always lazy to grab the camera and snap some pictures but I finally did it this weekend with the help of my good friend. The wheels were originally ferric grey but I got bored and got them refinished in high gloss black and machined face to match the with the rest of the car. Enjoy! How's the ride when you are driving with 21" rims?

@xxpanipuri those are actually from the X series line, I just thought they looked kinda cool on the car since a lot of new models are coming out with busy type wheels. They originally came with 19" Msport's - I put spacers on them and those are 11" rears.

Thank you all for the kind words! much appreciated.
The Cross-spoke style 312, Ferric Grey come in 20" for the 5 and 6 series but for the 7 series they come in 21", wider wheels in the rear and more aggressive offset, very close to a flush fitment on the 5 series. The wheels came with Pirelli run flats size 245/35/21 and 275/30/21 which did ride harsh on big bumps. I switched them to the Hankooks which ride soo much better even than the DUNLOP SPORT MAXX GT that came with the 19" M sport wheels 351M. I stuck to the same size to get the extra comfort. The only complain that I have about the tires is they have no rim protection what so ever and they look way narrower than the Pirilli P Zero Run flats that came with these wheels. I think once they wear out I will go with Pilot Super Sports and go with 285 in the rear. Hankooks are great tires because they aren't showing any wear signs and they are comfortable. Here are some pictures of when I had just bought the car on July 2014, before this I had a 2011 528I f10. |

Yes, it's a RWD on the M Sport suspension, 2013 & newer with M sport suspension & RWD the car sits slightly lower than the 2011 & 2012 with DDC, at least compare to my last f10 which had the DDC . The ride is slightly firmer as well. According to the dealer M Sport suspension is stiffer damping (front/rear) and a 10 mm lowering.
With the tires being higher profile it fills up the gap really nicely & gives it a lowered look. I could have probably gone with wider tires 255/30/21 front, 295/25/21 rear but the ride would suffer & there would be more gap between the body & the tire. With the current setup, it's firm enough but also comfortable for everyday driving without worrying too much about scraping my front bumper |

No offense intended, but I kind of like the Ferric grey better for some reason. Great pictures though!

I bought the HID kit for the fog lights from burgertuning.com not sure if they sell them anymore. It was a plug and play no errors or anything, had to take off the wheel & wheel well liner to do a proper installation. Last edited by Norris83; 10-24-2016 at 09:43 PM.. |

I think I just got bored and felt that the wheels in Ferric Grey don't look as big as they do now with the machine face, plus they didn't match the black trim that I have now all over the car. |

Holy $hitballs ... you certainly made up for being lazy ... 49 photos this time! If you scroll quickly down the page the frames turn into a short movie I love it though, and thought the pigeon pair of black and white look sensational Love the black machined face rims on alpine white too
