Luckily for you, your in Cali, just a drive away from Mission performance! lol. At the shop now as we speak getting exhaust installed.

Got the install done yesterday, very happy, what nice tone that this exhaust gives! And the chirp between gears! Slight droning in cabin but i've been told it will go away after break in. If anyones on the fence about this exhaust, just go for it you'll be bery pleased!

Yea man, my guy at the shop out high temp paint, looks great man. I thought these tips would be too big but actually turned out perfect.

My 550i is at the shop right now getting the m5 competition package installed, i bought the full exhaust downpipes back, but have decided to go cat back (and maintain my OEM cats) as i don't want to have any issues with CARB when i get the car smogged.

hows the noise inside? do you here a slight rumble without it being annoying?

You hear the rumble in low rpms in the 535, but its not obnoxious, its a very exotic tone when you floor it, but its not deafening which is what I was looking for

Living in Cali, I know what you mean. I will get downpipes, but I will ge the catted ones, hopefully I can still pass smog with it. Combine it with the Mission Performance tune and I should be good.

I love the RPI exhaust, the sound, the quality, it's all there

Man, living in San Diego with my cars i hated worrying about SMOG testing! even with the correct equipment once they saw that shiney exhaust tip they would immediately tell me "Nope, you modified your exhaust!" now that i'm here in Butt nowhere Ohio we don't have smog test you can pretty much do anything to your car without State Trooper asking "Pop your HOOD!" No DMV safety inspections also!

LOL, the good news about driving a BMW, cops never pull me over and ask me to pop the hood. It's a little different than the JDM stuff.
The flip side of no safety inspections and smog checks is that there are some real POS cars held together with bungee cords, spit and gum. Real dangers to other people that are driving around out there.
