Help figuring out maintenance schedule!

Hello everyone, 1st time poster! Not yet a BMW owner but excited to soon be!

I am looking at buying most likely a 2014 or 2015 528i or maybe a 535i. I would like to know at what mileage/kilometres the first big maintenance costs will come up. I realize this can often be dependent on driving style but there must be general ranges and I have been unsuccessful figuring it out. I haven't figured out the typical maintenance schedule for the 5 series.

For example, brakes typically done by when? I realize tires are easily determined based on remaining tread. Any other typical servicing (other than obvious oil/filter changes) that would come up between say 40-80,000kms? Engine maintenance?

I would like to be more knowledgeable on upcoming expenses to determine what I buy. I just don't want any surprises 1 month after driving my car around! I'm finding 2014's for example with anywhere from 30k - 100k km's.

And is the 4 yr 80,000km warranty transferred to a 2nd owner? And this maintenance package means if the brakes are won't out within 80,000kms they are replaced under warrantee? Or does normal wear and tear not count for warrantee purposes?

Thanks in advance.

This is document is BMW's view of the servicing schedule. There are variables you need to take into account when considering this and you may choose to do things like oil changes more often to further prolong the life of the engine and components such as the turbo. For brakes you need to take a view based on a physical view of the pad remaining. My Fronts are showing 20000 miles and have 40000 miles under their belt. My rears are 20000 miles with 15000 miles showing on the iDrive.
