Stumbles on start rough idle
70k 528i replaced plus, coils,valve cover gasket replaced injectors and vanos solenoids, no problem with parts invested most were on BMW list for mileage, but no relief for hard to start and rough idle till warmup car runs great no codes any suggestions appreciated.

Sry just reread your message. You have an N20 correct? Or is it a different Engine? Correct me if I am wrong I am researching release dates on the N20. If it is an N52, I am not the most familiar with that Engine.

I know the Timing Chain assemblies on those in particular have known critical issues.

Timing Chain can cause Rough idle, even misfires.
