Clutch Pedal Issue

Hello all. Recently my clutch pedal has started having a bit of a gritty feeling when I engage it. When I depress it, it seems like there is mechanical interference in the pedal itself; like its hitting notches or rubbing against an interior piece. I can get it to go away if I apply lateral pressure towards the inside of the vehicle while depressing the pedal. I understand that most of you deal with the AT, as that's the most prevalent spec, but has anyone had a similar issue in the past? I did a bit of searching specifically related to F10's and found nothing. Thanks!

2011 535i 6MT ~123k mi. New clutch at 75K mi or so.

Did you replace the master and slave cylinder when you did the clutch job? It sounds like the master is begining to fail

It was done by the previous owner. I would have to go find the paperwork to check. I was hoping it would be a pedal bushing rather than that.
