EPS car do have PS reservoirs as long as the car is equipped with DHP which includes the ARS system... My car has the eps system and my reservoir is right above the coolant reservoir as shown in the picture... It's because the PS reservoir is needed to support the ARS system as it shares the same fluid.

OP, do you have DHP package? If not then your car will not have the PS reservoir and you wouldn't have to worry about it as the dealer is simply trying to rip you off.

CHF11S hydraulic fluid used in the active swaybars isn't power steering related.... hence its not a POWER STEERING reservoir. Yes CHF11S is also used as power steering fluid on modern BMW's.

Per the OP's VIN he has a RWD 550i with EPS. He does not have DHP.

Either the dealer was trying to fleece him, or they are really that stupid!

Thanks for clarifying this they did try to rip me off then.
Now I am armed next time I go in I will ask to talk to Technician.
