May I know what wheels are your running? That's very good gas consumption.

I don't have an F10 (yet? ), but I have a 2008 E60 M5-
40L/100km. And you people think your fuel consumption is bad It's my daily driver, and getting stuck in stop-and-go traffic nearly every day at the cross harbor tunnel which probably doesn't help. I have a bit of a heavy right foot too, I guess... At 26xxx km right now, stock 19" wheels on Michelin PS2 tires. I am seriously considering getting an F10 M5 or 550i since the FC is supposed to be quite a bit better

I would have gone for the M5 if it were available when I ordered but I don't regret getting the 550i either. I can't find that many roads that I can really floor the car in HK anyway.....

I think the actual problem is the way I drive. My friend claims that he gets 12-13L/100km from his GS450h while I got an average of 20L from mine Quote:

Today I took a ride to the airport back and forth from HK island side. Drop dwon to 12.xL/100km from 15. I guess local driving really kills it.

I really want to measure a long distance highway journey with no revving, see if can get below 10l/100km .. but i am starting to thinking my car is big-eating .. but i don't mind, its such a beast ( for you big engine guys).. today i was driving around in the cold, dry temp, with hot sun can have no air con, but the road is hot so good tire grip, i accidently stepped on the accelerator when parked - VROOM! up to 5k - shocked me but i thought 'wow, so cool!" .. then on the drive home, even the "sport+" trans. mode seems to want to play today, it sticks at 4-5k rpm by itself, it never does that normally .. what a beast, and i havent even installed mlai's springs yet
