Adding Music through the USB in the Armrest

am I missing something?.
I select Media<Manage Media< reload from USB, plug in the USB with music on it and say<OK, then it says No media found!!!!!!! WTF.

My car is brand new any ideas guys?.

How is your thumb drive formatted, I think it has to be Fat32 although you may get away with exFat on the latest cars?

You need to "Import". I think reload is if you have saved it from the car previously.

Just worked it out, Multi media<External Devices< down a list on the left hand side to "Import Music"

Took for ever, but all good.

I don't bother with copying the music to the car.. I just plug in a 500Gb HDD will all my music on... job done. It saves a lot of faffing about.
