If it's $150K, that's cheap for a white gold daytona with white gold bracelet. Had my eye on that one too but my wife won't let me buy it. Settled for a stainless steel one instead and ended up paying more than official retail price.

Poor watches...I'll gladly give them some wrist time If I were to venture a guess, you probably have an AP RO offshore if you were into supercars before. You probably also have a PP Nautilus. I will have to check Citizen over the weekend. If Mlai wears it, it must be good

Shopping for a watch now to commemorate the birth of my son. I intend to hand it to him one day with his birthday on the certificate.

For women, the list can go on and on...handbags, handbags, handbags, handbags, oh wait, more handbags. Then next will be shoes, shoes, shoes. Jewelry when they hit a certain age.

For kids, as of now, my kid only wants my wife's breasts.

Brains can be influenced! Better set a limit via your credit card

Another thing you can do is buy a case of wine from the birth year of your kid. You can probably do this about 3 years from when your kid is born. The price won't be too expensive yet and make sure you get good ones. They can last for 30 years.

You can consume the wine during a special occasion like his wedding. Sort of cool

Actually, 15K-20K is the norm, even at BMW, I think. My BMW sales quoted me the same ballpark figure. However, we are talking about standard colors.

For custom colors, I don't know. You are looking to get your baby gold plated?

My dad gave me a watch on my wedding. He got it the year I was born. I thought that was cool so I want to do the same for my kid.

They say having a kid changes everything...except that I'm still fond of modding my F10 Maybe more than ever

For Rolex, only daytonas and vintage submariners appreciate. Got one that I bought for $80K last year and it's now close to $100K.

There are other brands that can keep their value. Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Panerai...as long as you pick the right watch
Yup, most watches depreciates expect a few brands. The right Patek Phillipe models can appreciate quite a bit. A few models are auctioning for more than US$1M, kind of crazy. But actually the top ten most expansive watches ever auctioned are PP. Panerai is more a fashion watch. Lucky if you keep the value. I also like Audemars Piguet but I don't own one.
