2009 335i Montego, Black leather, aluminum trim. Premium, CWP, Steptronic, Navigation, Satellite Radio and iPod adaptor.

Actually I ordered it the week before but my salesperson got it wrong and orderd the default dark burl instead of aluminum. She tried to coax me to change my mind, but we wanted the aluminum because it looked sportier to us with the color combos. They had to order a new car because it hit production almost instantly. The new order didn't get in production until April 3. Right now it is scheduled to finish on April 20.

I got the VIN from the 800 number which says it is being made in Regensberg. Anyone else got a Regensberg E90 scheduled to complete on April 20 on the East Coast? We can share info. I want to track it from its birth to destination. The rep on the 800 site said they don't get vessel names.

How did you get your VIN? I was able to use my production number to find my vechicle and it is expected to be finished on 4/8 but not sure how to find the vin on the automatic voice system.

Ask for a human on the 800 system. I forgot the voice command but you can always dial a 0. Give them your prod # and they can give you a VIN.

My baby completed production on 4/9/09 and passes QC the following day. As of today she is "Waiting for Carrier." the suspense is building.

I'm trying to find my Black Sapphire 335i (ZMP). 800 number shows it at the port in Germany on March 25. Anybody have a way to find it based on the VIN ? WBAWB73559P047238

Guardodoc,

Your sales rep hass access to that info. Once it reaches the carrier the 800 number has no further info.

Mine completed the same day and is on the ship "Medea", due in NY on May 1. As of this evening (4/17/2009), the ship is docked in Belgium. Scheduled to dock in the UK, Canada, then NY. BTW...the status still shows "waiting for carrier". I verified with the dealer it is on the ship! :-)

That is interesting. My dealer says she knows nothing. However, she is not the sharpest knife in the drawer, nor is she that conscientious. Was your car built in Regensburg?

We just ordered (4-17-09) an 09 E90 - 475 Sapphire black, 337 M Sport pkg, Steptronic, 322 comfort access, LCD3 Saddle brown.

The sales manager claims that we may be able to get this vehicle built and delivered within 4-5 weeks. This sounds too good to be true but he said that it was possible if they could replace an existing build slot.

Also did anyone else get charged a "MACO" fee of $325 as well as a $180training/service fee?
It seems that we got a good deal but it had many hidden cost factored into the price.

MSRP was 48,930 and we got it for $46,525 before the $1500 credit from BMW financial.

Our e90 335i M-Sport is in production and scheduled for completion on 4-29. The plant is Regensburg...just curious if anyone else on the east coast has a similar time frame?

My 328i sedan is in production and supposed to be done by early next week (according to the update I received from my sales person yesterday).

I hope you guys have more luck than I. My Regensburg-built car finished on 4/9 - but was not released to carrier until 4/21. Ironically, the scheduled completion of production was 4/20 - but apparently BMW waits until they got a sufficient batch. I missed getting the Faust out of Bremerhaven on 4/24/09. The next east-coast-bound ship is the Don Carlos out of BH on 4/30. If you guys get lucky and the ship is not full our cars may be shipmates.

I think with my estimated completion date of 4-29, I would be hard pressed to be that lucky to have the vehicle on the boat by the 30th.
I was informed a few days ago by the sales mangager that our car is at status 153.

You never Know. The data we receive is often delayed. The BMWUSA website updated my car to En Route on Sunday 4/26, so my car WAS on the Faust after all. Now I can track her the rest of the way. She is in Zeebruge today and should arrive in NY on May 7. I am psyched!!!

I am also on Faust and was updated Sunday that I made it. I was tracking her all the way into Bremerhaven and then stopped because I thought I missed the boat (literally).

Our 335's can make friends on the ship

Killing me too. I still can't find the VIN on the WW tracking site. The ship is now trackable on http://www.sailwx.info/shiptrack/shi...html?call=SLKQ. She is at the -10 Meridian.

Yeah, I noticed that. Seems like she updates every 6 hours (although it has been over 12 since her last update

).

I caught a picture of her leaving Southampton a few days ago. It was dark so not the best picture.

Yeah that looks just like her. As of this morning she is around the -45 parallel - almost to the New World.

BTW what color are you getting?
