Hey team… just dropped off my F10 for service and the SA mentioned that a few items were programming issues (a recall on emissions system, resetting service due on rear breaks, error stating my gas cap is open).

I had my car coded for several things like removing the Idrive warning, auto-fold mirrors, etc.

Will this reprogramming at the dealer reset all the items that have been coded?

No I got to El Cajon BMW.

They were pretty cool about stuff in the past (rims, suspension). I'm just hoping that whats been coded won't be wiped out.

Actually there is one in San Marcos every last Saturday of each month. However, since I live down in the Chula Vista area I havent had a chance to check it out.

We should do something more central like Mission Valley... whos in?

Hey, With the emission recall, they wipe out and reinstall the system. Most probably all codings will be gone.

I'm in for a SD meet, but the one in Carlsbad is awesome. Two weeks ago there were lots of Porsches, Ferraris and Corvettes, including a spectacular modded Ferrari F50 and a super clean 53? Vette. The event definitely needs more BMWs, but Mission Valley is more centralized.
