TIRE SHINE

Please give guidance as to which product is the best TIRE SHINE -- recently purchased MOTHERS TIRE SHINE --- on a scale of 1 to 10 --- I rate it at a 6.
Not that impressed by it.

What will provide the best/long lasting SHINE -- but not a dust magnet!!

I am currently using Meguair's Hot Shine Tire Foam and it works great. Since this BMW has much less brake dust than my previous one, the spray on foam lasts a long time and the overspray on the wheels doesn't show up usually until it's time for a wash.

Yea I know! Thats why i haven't pulled the trigger yet.. but the results and versatility are so compelling. How long did a bottle last you for Gato? Also in your experience, how is the durability?

I used to have a Ford Expedition that I could use this on the trim, but I got rid of that, so now I have 3 cars that don't have any black trim. And since I rarely wash the tires and rims (I use Armor all wheel protectant), I find at my current rate I will get through a 12 OZ bottle some time in 2019.
THe durability is good, it's not bettter or worse than other similar products, it's just more uniform, doesn't sling, and doesn't give that shiny look like a lot of other products. It's more of a matte finish. Here's a video to illustrate...

I use armor all extreame shine. Its orange bottle and you can get it from the shoprite or target. It make your tyre really shine though but you have to make sure it dries perfect before you drive the car. Or else you are going to end up having black marks all over the car. What I usually do is, wash the car, let the tyre dry first and put them on with sponge which came with it. Let them dry at least 2 or 3 hour on the sun to dry and ride the car. First day I drove my car right away and left with big mass. Try it if you want really shine looking. Its less than 10 bucks.

optimum tire shine - nice natural look, slightly shimmery, without the sling!

NOT THE GEL!

tried out the Ultima Tire and Trim Guard Plus this weekend. Low gloss or matt look with no sling, easy to apply - So far so good. I'll be interested to see how it holds up to daily rain deluges this summer.

Before that have been using Zaino brand.

Best stuff,,,, Tuf Shine. Glossy wet look, dries to the touch so no sling. warning though, can't be applied in temps below 40 degrees.

Next best IMO Adam Super VRT dressing. Good for when the temps get below 40 degrees. Low to no sling if applied and excess wipped off, medium gloss.

That is not me in the video, but my tires do look like that too. First you have to clean the tire, they are full of grease. I use Meguiars super degreaser and a stiff tire brush. The guy in the video used a MF towel to apply Ultima, but I use a tire applicator, usually 2 coats of the Ultima, then wipe off the excess with a old MF towel. Comes out dry and non greasy and non shiny.
