so which colour?
Parents are looking at getting an F10 M Sport in either white or black, which would you go for and why?

In south FL, white F10's are everywhere, most common color by far. Between these two choice I'd go black but honestly I am partial to Dark Graphite(Sophisto Grey). Best color in my opinion.

Carbon Black imo. It changes color throughout the day. It goes from dark blue during sunlight, midnight blue at dusk and black at night. I love it.

Hey. Good news as stated above is you can't lose. I'm 18 and black is my favorite color on a non-M bmw. I drive a 2011 535i xdrive with m sport. It's not an official M, so that's why I kept it classy by going with the black. Your tastes could be different. Alpine white is bad ass on a BMW. So whatever you chose, you guys still can't make a bad choice with those colors.

White looks so much better. Then the dark gray and space gray would be next in line for second best color.
Black is a waste on this car. I drive one myself The F 10 looks better in white because it is masculine looking and white does not make the car necessarily girly. Secondly, it accentuates the lines of the car in a very nice fashion. The car just looks fresh in white. Last edited by Bmoney2K4; 12-28-2013 at 08:46 PM.. |

It's true that in Florida white color is the most popular. I live in Colorado now and it's quite rare to see white bimmers. I recommend white due to low maintenance and M sport package looks great on white. I've owned 2 black cars and I don't look back.

I vote white too! Had black and will never do that again. If your parents buy the black, while your washing and waxing it for them, and then when done, you'll tell them "Should of bought the white".
Don't get me wrong, I love the black look too, but it literally kills me to maintain it the way I maintain my vehicles. |

I am convinced that with the F10 chassis it looks best in black while white is the most popular color. If your parents don't care about paint care then go with either color. If they do, stick with lighter colors so they don't go mad

I have sapphire black which is a bitch for cleaning to make it look clean, but then again white also ages badly unless you're a fastidious cleaner of cars as it goes off white and shows all the dirt marks close to plastics etc. Black shows swirl marks badly...
If you live somewhere warm white will be easier to maintain but somewhere with regular dirty roads white will always look dirty... |
