Coding to Disable Entertainment Details in Instrument Cluster

Hi All,

I recently coded my 2013 F10 so the entertainment details are in the HUD. Does anyone know the coding to disable it from appearing in the instrument cluster? I find it distracting appearing in both spots at night.

In my 2013 F10 I had entertainment in instrument cluster only from factory. In my 2016 F10, I only have entertainment in HUD from factory.
For turn-by-turn navigation, I have to disable hud to switch to instrument cluster. So, obviously, there is a separate setting. Did you check idrive settings?

Thats weird - on my 2014 F10, it either displays it on the HUD and not on the Instr. Clust. Display if the option for HUD entertainment is ticked in the settings section of the iDrive,
or just in the Instr. Clust. Display if that HUD ent. setting is unticked.

Its never appeared in both places at once.

Like you, I hate duplicate information, it really irritates me.

Have same issue in my 2013; had hope that by upgrading the firmware in NBT, KOMBI and HUD it would behave like the 2014+

I do have both cars, 13 and 14. Is there some setting that could be compared between both?

I do not know specific FDL for which to look. However, you can easily compare NCD's with TokenMaster's Tool.
