F10 and f15 tacho 6wb
Hi all
Does anyone know if the x5 and 5 series instrument clusters are the same? Can't find much info on the web and some is conflicting Thanks |

I answered my own question...
They are one and the same You can fit any 6wb cluster into any fxx chassis You can fit LHD into rhd and vice versa You can fit kmh into a mph car and vice versa |

Ah ok, would that mean that the unit isn’t compatible even after flashing? Not that it really matters as I’ve just picked up a 6WB for F10 on a second chance ebay offer. I would be interested to know purely for knowledge purposes.

I had checked the ETK a few times and saw they were different part numbers. I was hoping initially that flashing would make them compatible. Alls good either way as my 6WB arrived today. Used but never been opened. Looking forward to seeing how that retrofit goes |

Hello reviving this old thread, I bought a 6WB off a 2014 740i and was wondering if that would work for 2015 X5 F15 with HUD.
ETK links are dead since ETK is a goner. I know part numbers are different but was wondering if it would still work. |
