Replace engine and motor mounts?

I have a 2014 535d which has 106,000 miles. I've had the vehicle since new and 90% of the miles are highway miles.

Recently I had the vehicle in the shop for some service work and the shop owner told me the engine and motor mounts need replacing.

I don't notice any vibration or unusual noise and thought it odd the the mounts would wear out so soon. Any thoughts?

No vibration or clunk when accelerating, no replacing.

Mounts do wear out, but indeed unless there's vibration or you can visibly see the engine jumping when starting up you're likely good.
