What's the name of the part where a Fuel Injector Wiring goes into?

Hello everyone,

I am assisting my relative to fix her valve cover + gasket and it's super dirty oily which resulted in a broken plastic part that holds the Fuel Injector Wiring (just the part where it locks)

The location below circled in red is where the connector/wiring goes into and i wanted to ask the community if anyone here is familiar with this part.

My best guess was '13907636145' but the diagram in the RealOEM only showed 3 (whereas there are 4) so I am just really uncertain.

Is anyone familiar with this part by any chance?

What you circled in the 1st two pictures is the connector on the actual fuel injector as shown below...and I've circled in red.

This shows 3 in the photo, but Find Number 1 and 2 are grayed out, which means those variations do not apply to your F10 528. The only variant is Find Number 9, which down in the Parts List, requires only 1 per vehicle.

13907636145 is NOT what you have circled in your photos.

Hello, thank you very much and I found the part on FCPEuro thanks to you!

Fuel Injector: (https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...639994#fitment)

Fuel Injector Removal Tool (I didn't know i needed this): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...0AY8CJU0&psc=1

Before I replace it, would it be safe to drive the car for a week? When I inserted in the fuel injector wiring/connector to it, it doesn't exactly feel "loose" when I try to pull it back out so I think it'd be okay but any confirmation or feedback will be great.

Yeah, if it runs, should be fine. There's no pressure on that that would blow it off. But I'm a rando on the internet, so proceed with caution!

I agree with StradaRedlands...and personally would NOT replace the fuel injector unless you have ISTA and replaced all 6.

I'd zip tie the wiring harness to the top of the injector after you make the electrical connection to the injector, and call it a day. You just want to keep the electrical connector connected under vibration of the engine, so a zip tie should suffice.
