umm I believe this to be months old and BMW crushed all those cars I know because I worked for them!! they will fix a bumper or something minor and the dealer is supposed to disclose that if not they can be made to buy the car back!!!

sorry for the repost guys im new to the forum. bmw did not disclose any info to me, and they flat out refused to give me a new car.
at the end they gave me 5k miles added to my lease and a m3 wheel because my alcantara started to fade.

Not totally true. They can repaint up to X% of the car, I forget the exact number but I think it's around 30%, and they don't have to tell you anything.

one month after i bought my car i realized paint drip around the right
tail light. i took it back (paul miller in NJ)and showed them my car. they agreed something is wrong and offered to repaint it.
i did not let them touch my car, and took it to a bmw authorized body shop.
they found that the back half the car was re-painted and even behind the back seats.
back at bmw they called in a rep. after he looked at it they told me again all

bmwna my self and take care of this.
after i put a hole in the vending machine and told him i was going to
rip his head off they agreed to add 5k miles to my lease and replace my steering wheel with a new m3 wheel. i tryed to get them to give me a new
car but the bmwna told me no way.

Was there ever any information published about what exactly happened to cause the Courage to list so badly?

Reports seem to indicate that it wasn't a wild storm out in the middle of the ocean but rather a ballast malfunction in/very near the port in NJ.

The ship must have had one helluva list to cause such substantial damage. In fact, viewing some of the damaged cars one wonders if they were actually tied up in port with the vehicle tie-downs released when the incident occurred.

They had a sedan on the same ship, and they showed me the report... it got a back bumper and new doors.....
