Oh yeah! 3d style carbon fiber side skirt extensions are here yea! so i can't test fit them just yet as i haven't ordered the MSport skirts yet. As far as quality is very nice. Weave pattern looks consistent and very sturdy and strong. Not flimsy at all. Im sure these are all ordered from the same manufacturer so im glad i didn't spend the extra $100 from a different ebay seller

Looks like some fun projects! Looks like your cat may be interested in the box that it came in!

Good call. I'll see what I can find. I really need to get some good tires on these. The cheap ones the dealer put on are awful.

I've had 3 sets. The tabs have all lined-up correctly but the fitment has been anywhere from 99.99% (my current chrome surround double-slat) to about 95%. All acceptable in my book and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase more.

My problem arose when I tried to put the stock chrome surround around the aftermarket double-slat interior.

starting my coding adventure, using the Bimmercode app and Vgate Icar OBD adapter recommended. While I'm not necessarily fearful of the ESys process, I wasn't thrilled with going the "windows in Mac" route. This app is the best of both worlds, I will ultimately be able to do some "expert" coding, using existing cheat sheets. Started with the easy stuff, RDC coding to get the Temp and Pressure on my TPMS as well as default "off" for the auto/start stop. More to come as I have time.

do some searching on both this forum and the X5 forum (at least those are the 2 I prowl) and you'll find lots of threads. I had it down between the Carly or Bimmercode app, as I wasn't really interested in going down the "hook up your laptop to your car" route. The developer is responsive and answered my questions in a day or two. In less than 30 min I had things hooked up and started; total time to do what I want on the 535 will probably be about an hour or so. Total cost to me so far = ~$50. You'd pay more than that just to get 1-2 basic "USB coded" items elsewhere, so in my book it's already paid for itself (already coded the tire values, coded out the disclaimers, and turned off the auto start/stop). Bonus is that I can use it on both the 535 and X5

here's a thread that has a pretty good breakdown http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=973239

I'm not very computer literate and I was VERY apprehensive about doing this. A coding session was set-up locally by a VERY knowledgeable member (THANKS MWPos!!!!) and a few of us showed up. The software was provided and we were shown how to code a couple of things and after proper instruction we went on our merry ways. Coding is VERY easy, satisfying and FUN! It can also be addicting! I look for things to code!

Trust me... If I can do it, ANYONE can!

Hello to all, not sure if I'm in right area new member, got my 2011 F10 535xi with 75k miles yesterday, and today replaced both front outer cv boots, front brake pads, rotors and sensor, oil filter and oil cooler gaskets, low pressure fuel sensor, oil change, and alignment. Did not have time to replace valve cover gaskets, so I guess Monday to finish it.
Great forum by the way!

Got my gloss black performance grills and carbon fiber mirrors finally.

And I can't install them. Nothing feels worse than getting car parts you can't put on
