It is actually listed for 7 of 9 F10 models last I checked. M sport suspension is listed for all the xdrives, the Hybrid, and the RWD only for 535d and 550i. Only the 528i and 535i RWDs were excluded on the bmwusa site for build your own. What is actually correct is a whole other story??

Just looked at a 14' 535 msport and the window sticker did not mention the m suspension like the 2013. Also I did confirm the higher ride height. Maybe we should all complain to bmwusa to add the springs back. I mean whats the point of a sport package without sport suspension. Just like the way they reversed the light steering on the early e46.

Seems the 535d and 550 retains the sport springs. Why elimate it from the versatile 535 is beyond me. I'm seriously looking for other alternatives now. The msport 535 handling is what got me looking at the f10s anyway

I too can confirm that the 14 535 and 550 both have a higher ride height compared to the 13 models they had at my local dealer

When you go to build 2014 535D this is what is showing under MSport. No mentioning of lower ride height although it has m suspension

Confirmed by BMW guys. LCI M Sport gets a BASE suspension in the States. ALL F10's get the same base suspension here. So M Sport is more expensive but for the first time ever is PURELY cosmetic. Europe still gets the lowered true M suspension were only had for one year here.

How upsetting. The tiny LCI changes don't outweigh the great stance of the 13 M suspension cars so the 13 M Sports will look better by default. I hate large wheel gaps. We should really complain to BMW USA about this.

K-A, only thing from this that I think we have not confirmed yet is that a Euro LCI 704 M sport suspension is the same lowered one (as far as height at least) as what you have in your '13. I don't think anyone with a Euro LCI M Sport with 704 suspension has checked in yet to show it has the same lowered stance as yours... but I could be wrong.

Apparently they get a specific "M suspension" per their LCI ordering guides and then you can even do an "M suspension delete" to get the same Base suspension we're getting in the States.

Right, my point is we don't know yet if it is lowered like it was in your USA 2013 M Sport. It could be that all LCI passive suspensions: euro 704, base LCI, & whatever the heck we get in USA on M sports could all be raised with respect to what was in 704 m sports pre-LCI. Just saying no one has weighed in with a euro 704 LCI suspension yet.

I second that. in fact I encourage all of you to email bmwusa and voice your concern. the msport version is the most expensive line yet missing the most basic element. I know thier client base could not care less but those guys would buy the luxury line anyways.

I just sent off an email to them voicing these concerns. I mean if cost cutting is the driver make it a $1000 stand alone option. just give us this option!

Has the price of the m-sport line gone down any compared to the old M-Sport Package? If not then that is absolutely dishonest and disgraceful.

What email address did you send it to? The customerrelations(at)bmwusa.com one? I would love to send BMW one of my rants.

Either way, to truly enjoy the suspension and drive of the F10 is to go aftermarket. Dinan or ACS are both very good. It makes a big difference.

I just looked it is currently 3,150.

So they are charging you more but you are getting significantly less? Forgive my language, but what the actual f*ck are they thinking? I mean this really irks me.

KA doesn't know what suspension it comes with. Nobody does. All we know its not the same Msport suspension that came in his car. Calling it "base" is a little premature at this point. For all we know it could be superior to his msport suspension but some guys are hell bent about putting down the LCI for some reason. Stick with the facts and stop spreading nothing but speculation guys...

Fact - US spec cars do not get the 706 Msport suspension that the 13's did (verified by BMWNA)
Fact - Nobody here has tested for themselves how the 14 and 13 Msports feels with passive suspension
Fact - Nobody knows if the old 706 Msport suspension is better than the current suspension in the LCI's
Fact - BMW has publicly announced one of the biggest enhancements of the 5 LCI is better handling and steering which was verified by atleast one magazine test so far (edmunds)

Didn't BMW USA tell you that all F10's get the same suspension. I.e if that's the case that means it's a "base" suspension. Problem is even if it does handle better than 13's there is a true M sport suspension and European F10's get it, therefore regardless the US cars get short changed with a non M suspension not to mention US M Sports get a base i.e high ride height, not the lowered ride of the true M suspension on the 13's (or I'm assuming obviously LCI's with M suspension overseas).

When I hear "base suspension" i think of 2011 bare bones zero option 528 suspension that handles like a Cadillac Eldorado.
