Carbon Fiber rear diffuser fitment

I have a Vorsteiner Style CF rear diffuser that im trying to adjust to fit better. Basically if i push it up with my hand it fits perfectly but when i let go its natural position leaves a small gap.

shown in the picture (link below)

Anybody know what the best way or have a suggestions to adjust it? I tried double sided tape but it didn't work very well.

Thanks!

i had the same problem with my off-brand diffuser. what you have to do is this: the diffuser should have some tabs where the clips would be in the factory part. with the bumper off, hold the diffuser in place and crossdrill a small screw through the tab as it's entering its corresponding hole in the bumper. not into the bumper itself...but into the tab. you should create a "T" that will prevent the diffuser from moving.

i had to do this in about 4-5 places. hell...the diffuser actually came with the small screws as they KNEW the fitment was gonna be shit without em.

hope that helps...

I let mine (not cf but PU and from ebay) sit out in the hot sun and it got extremely flexible. From there I was able to snap all the tabs in and it retained its shape and contoured to the bumper once it cooled down. No gap issues and no screws!

with mine i had to drill small holes in the tab and had screws hold it in place so it doesn't pop through

it was the only way to keep the diffuser tight and from popping out
