F10 535i/N55 JB4 Users - Log Request

Looking for some advice from some JB4 users here. I installed my JB4 with Bluetooth Connect Kit and BMS intake as my first couple power mods on my '13 535i M Sport. Since then, I can definitely feel the power gains but I'm also interested in monitoring my logs to make sure everything is normal, especially while using E85 (I've only tried 4 gallons in one tank before I realized the issues below).

My first issue was with the gauges on my JB4 iOS app showing gauges (boost, rpm, iat, oil temp, etc.) at a very slow refresh rate. After posting up on N54tech (http://www.n54tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=43446), I was told to make sure all my connections were good, especially on my OBDII port, all was good. Steve then suggested changing FUA to 51 which solved this issue.

My other issue has been with logging. After searching the forums and comparing logs from other F10 535's, my logs are 1) showing data at much longer intervals, or recording data samples at a much slower rate and 2) a lot of the parameters are either 0 or inaccurate. Also I've seen where my "Engine" in the log attached is "F Series - ALL," other logs from F10 N55s have said N54 G5 ISO or E series N54

I'm using the latest firmware posted (N55_FSERIES_OBDII_PWG_10.hex) and as far as I know everything else is working correctly. I've never thrown a code or had any other issues.

I'm hoping some users here can post up some logs just for me to compare and determine whether this is an isolated issue or do I just have some settings wrong or anything else that might help get this resolved. Here are a couple lings to some logs, looks like I can't attach .csv files to this post:

Here are the two other F10 N55 logs I referenced:

Stage 2 '13 535i M sport (literally the same as my car, except it has a dp and cp and running Map 2, and engine type says N54 G5 ISO) - https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B8...m9fTVFvby1sWEU

'11 535i (mods unknown, has the same slow data rate issue as mine but at least most of the parameters are being logged, engine type E Series - N54) - https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B8...UtuWm45ZHlCZzA

Let me know if you find a solution to this. I ran to the same issue and bms forum didnt provide any answer to this.

I got mpe exhaust and catless dp running map2 on 93 oct.

I dont have bluetooth so I got tired of keep using the usb in this cold weather.
Plus I check with bms and they said if car runs too lean then jb4 should automatically put car in map 0 or 4.

I'm working with Steve @ BMS with tweaking my settings. But simple answer is the CANbus on some F10s have a slower sample rate so we get less data from the DME when logging. Right now, I have FUD set to enable bit2 (to use in-dash controls via BS button) and bit7 (slow down CANbus sample rate). This is allowing me to log WOT pulls and give BMS enough data to read the logs and offer advice.

Best bet is to post whatever logs you can get in the N54tech support forum and have one of the guys assist you based on your mods/issues.

Dreaming for the day I can get the DME unlocked and flashed by Mission or BM3

I have a 2013 535i and I have never had any logging issues with mine. I have changed from the standard PWG Firmware to cutting the diode and running ISO Firmware. Check with BMS, but I believe this is going to be the only way it will continue to be supported in the future.

I'm satisfied (for now) running map 7 with 7 gallons of E85 with just a catless dp and intake. Those mods paired with the sprint booster and MPE give me the acceleration and associated noises I was missing since selling my last turbo car. I'm pretty much done with power mods or I'd move to the ISO firmware and play with it more (especially if I had near as many power mods as you do). I'm constantly monitoring via the JB4 app and have Steve look at logs (although limited) for when I change maps/fuel mixtures so that's good enough for me until I can move up to a 550 or an M one day and make some real power

I too have 2014 535i and am debating on trying the ISO mod to JB4. What settings and Map do u use? N54tech website is so scattered i cannot figure this out. Too confusing to me.... But i hear the ISO firmware is the way to go and that it will be the only way in the future. I want to do it but need a tutorial somehow......What guide did you use?
