One-touch operation on sunroof gone. Reset sequence available?

Hello all:

A couple of days ago, my sunroof decided that it didn't want to respond to "one touch open" commands any longer. It still opens and closes as normal, but the one-touch press and open doesn't work. Glass only, the shade still does.

On my Volvo, there was a reset sequence for the auto up and down windows, that involved a sequence of full open and full closed with keeping the switch held in position for a certain time. Does anything like that exist on these cars? I'd rather not take the time to go to the dealer if I don't have to.

wow, mine stop working as well few days ago, my shade nor glass doesn't auto close either, but it does work if i keep holding it... I made a dealer appointment but hopefully someone has a solution for this

Fixed it, awesome!

You know what it says in the US Manual...take it to the dealer. Freaking lawyers, we can't have something that says "closes without pinch protection" and then we can do it on our own.

That's in the US manual, too. I think there may be something else about waving a dead chicken over the Roundel on the front, but I don't really remember the details.

(Trying to make the wait for my car a little more tolerable by reading the owner's manual from cover to cover.)

It's not in the paper manual I have. Nor the electronic one I downloaded.
