Ordering Hankooks today - been thinking about going 255/35 for the front - thoughts? Any downside?

I am going for the same but with PSS next week. RC3 has been using that size and said that its fine. I think 255/35 is more commonly available than 245/35R20 and has a very slightly taller sidewall than 245/35R20. Which is better with potholes and curbs......

Had been riding on 245/35R20 with PZero the Hero. So will let you know next week on 255/35R20 next week with PSS

The only drawback for PSS is road noise, very noticeably higher compared to 17" Pirelli RFT.

What?? there is really more road noise with non RFT 20" Michelin PSS than 17" Pirelli RFT.

I thought the PSS were as quiet as it gets.

That's right! PSS has to be more quiet than my PZero Hero.

However, if you compare PSS to non-Max Performance tyres, maybe PSS is a ted more noisy
