Auto Insurance Cost - What Do You Pay?

While waiting for my 2013 535 XDrive to arrive, I got an insurance quote today. I have a good driving record (no accidents for about 9 years) and get a 29% discount from the annual rate.

My coverage is:

All Purpose (I can drive to and from work or anyplace in NA I want)
Any licensed driver can operate the car
$80,000 Maximum Insured Value
$200.00 deductible
$5M Third party Liability
Auto Loss of use (if I cause an accident and need a rental)
Age = 55

We have a government insurance program which is "no fault" and there are no personal injury claims allowed. Payments for injuries are by schedule and loss of wages, loss of future earnings, all medical and rehabilitation is covered 100%

Annual premium $2,035/Good Driver discounted: $1,471 per year.

I was a bit shocked as my wife's 2003 Honda Accord is only about $200/year lower than the BMW!

Do you want to share what your premium is?

Pretty reasonable. We're you able to get a higher liability limit, or do you feel $500,000 is adequate?

I'm sure you are proud of that. Was your cousin one of the motorcycle riders chasing the Range Rover last month?

Nope he wasn't. I guess you didn't read the news cause it was a detective that was part of the gang. Not a SGT. There's a difference.

Anyways. Let's stay on topic.

Right - we were talking about insurance rates, not how dirty cops fix tickets

You need to get your details first before you assume cause you'll just make yourself look like an ignorant idiot. I never said he "fixed" my tickets and he's not a dirty cop. I guess someone hates law enforcement? He gave me a SBA card, which I nicely hand the PO that pulls me over for moving violations and I get off with a warning. That is not illegal or dirty.

Again, you make yourself look like a fool right now.

Edit: Mods, can we delete everything after my post so it does not get out of hand here. Thank you

They should just delete all of your posts. You're off topic (and offensive, to me). Go play with your SBT card. I'm not interested in playing with you - goodbye
