In your neck of the woods that may be fine but I believe it was more of the reckless driving, weaving in and out in traffic like a lunatic is what did him in.

Yeah, its a double edged sword.

On one hand you have a whole group of people crying that a selfish BMW boi-racer "endangered their lives" needlessly.

The same group coincidentally doesn't ever check their mirrors and even if they did they won't yield to the right.

This sort of thing happens when the vast majority of the road going public doesn't take the activity seriously, and is absolutely never responsible for someone blasting around them.

Since I moved from my heaaaavily modified old unassuming 01 530i to this F10 I have noticed 3-4 times the amount of people being dickheads to me for no reason other than I'm driving a new BMW. Driving habits haven't changed, but it sure as shit puts a big target on you for ignorant people that think you're rich or something.

80,90 even 100 can happen in our cars quickly, but thats too much traffic. The dude was splitting cars like a motorcycle. But again if a motorcycle can split cars why can't cars? Touché

Either way that was dangerously reckless

I saw the video and this guy clearly was driving dangerously, u just don't do that when theres tight traffic, one thing if u wanna do it in an open road but clearly could have gotten someone hurt badly. I heard the city is trying to take the drivers car away. which i think is too much. Fine him and all but not take his car.

I'll be honest back in my 20's when racing was underground we did that all the time. This was way before the FnF days and when you're young you don't think about consequences. But I think when you get older and start having kids reality kicks in
