Pdc problem

The pdc on my 2013 528i turns off erratically when maneuvering. Without fail every time I'm turning the car around in my driveway, in the same place, The steering wheel is at full lock, I'm at crawling speed and its picking up the nearby wall it just turns off.

I know the parameters for it turning off are speeding up or it not detecting anything for a certain period of time, so I can't understand it turning off in the scenario I described.

Anybody experienced similar or have any ideas on how to fix it?

Doesnt the PDC turn off after you pass 5 or 10 MPH going forward?

If you are moving forward, the PDC will turn off after 160 ft or 22mph

Yeah as I said it happens at crawling pace with objects still in the range of the pdc. Surely this can't be right? It's never happened on any other bmw
