My 2016 550 M-Sport is lease ending in a few months. I'm way down in the miles, have 27k on a 36k lease. The residual is at 47k. Leased for 71k.

I'm seeing similar equipment with similar miles (<30k) on BMW lots being offered for 41k-43k CPO. So any poor suckers who did a purchase and tried to trade aren't likely getting much more than 35k is my guess.

In a few months my guess is these 2016s will drop under 40k for CPOs, offered on BMW dealer lots.

The 550 is a better than fine as a daily tool plus highway missile. Let's be honest, even in sport mode with M-Sport equipment its a boat on twisties. But on an open road it's cozy and plenty fast to lose a license. So right tool for right job.

Is there a question here? So I'm more than curious if anyone has been able to negotiate a deal for a CPO well less than the residual? The car has been trouble free and most importantly I know how it's been used. So it's a great option as a daily, semi-daily for me.
