Smile Finally arrived!

The nappa leather interior is fantastic, and the head up display just unreal,

also some small luxuries that I included and could not photograph are the automated self closing doors , and the self opening boot

In my opinion these are the little extra luxuries that make the car different from the rest, a bit like choosing a 5 star hotel instead of a 3 star, the 5 star will give you that little bit extra pleasure.

Specs:

535i
Sophisto Gray exterior
Nappa Oyster / Black interior
Anthracite roof line
Sunroof
Head up display
Ambient interior light,
Logic 7 stereo system
Adaptive drive

Judging by the 7000 RPM redline and the "TwinPower Turbo" writing on the engine cover, I'd say it's a 535i.

Yes, that's a good indicator. The other good one is where he says in his post it's a 535i

Oh I'm so sorry, it's just that I was distracted by the good looks of the car and those seats that I didn't see it.

Looks good, nappa looks very plush.

Whats with the bonnet panel gap at the right hand side - is it not shut properly?

Also, is that the sport steering wheel, or the normal one?

The aluminum trim on the bottom means its sport

And +1 on the bonnet gap. I've seen at least 3 pics of F10 5ers now with the gap on the right side.

Congratulations! The color is very elegant, and the photo of the head-up display has turned out remarkably well. I wish I could touch the Nappa leather - it looks very luxurious in the photo.

Sun Visor material?

Quick question: When one orders the anthricite headliner, are the sun visors covered in cloth to match or in vinyl?

I really regret having to be the one to tell you this, but it looks like your car was delivered with the steering wheel on the wrong side of the car! : )

Beautiful interior. HUD probably has some value at high speed. But is automated door closing a problem we needed solved?

Saw this exact car at a dealership in Melbourne, Australia yesterday and truely the photos (no offence) really dont do justice to how incredibly deep and beautiful Sophisto Grey is! Conrats on a awesome car, I'm really quite jealous!

I always thought the same thing about the soft close doors. Generally don't have any real world use other than they're neat to look at and if you have a small sleeping child. When trying to get my sleeping son out of his car seat (or if we made a pit stop so my wife could get in and out), whenever I used to close the door he'd wake up. Now I can quietly close the door and he never wakes up. That's worth it.

the hood gap is actually from the hood not being shut all the way. alot of new BMWs have 2 hood latches, and it seems that many people are having trouble realizing that only 1 has engaged because they were trying not to slam the hood. i detail BMWs at a dealership while i'm in college and this is a big pet peeve of mine. beautiful 5er though, i love the new styling, fit and finish is excellent in these cars. i actually had the pleasure of prepping our first sold F10 (aside from 2 demos), alpine white 535i with only premium pkg and 6-speed manual. loved that, and the transmission felt awesome. 6MT ftw!
