Hello everyone

I am new to the BMW world with my recently purchased 2011 BMW 535i, I'm not in the position to spend thousands on a exhaust system at the moment but I would like a little more aggressive sound like an M5. I was thinking about doing maybe a muffler delete, resonator delete, getting M5 mufflers, or trying to find an M performance muffler. Has any one had any experience or positive or negative reviews doing any of these options?

Muffler Delete: Super cheap but I didn't do it becase it was just too loud and a ton of drone.

I went with the M5 muffler options. You should be able to find them on these forums for like $450'ish. And about $100 to get them installed via muffler shop. I think this is the best route for most of us.

Well i bought a complete supersprint exhaust system on my 2k12 535i and i've had a lot of drone at 2k rpm. so had to put back the factory cat.

I have the BMW M sport exhaust

I think is drones at 1200 -1500 in D but never in sport.

I,ve had it in for about 2yrs now, it sounds great on cold water even better in the cabin on high way speeds

I like so far

I got it from the dealer with a $250 rebate and I got my rebate a month later

Here are some exhaust I had on my 2012 535i

M Performance Exhaust

Magnaflow mufflers

I also had m5 mufflers. Best sound from driver seat. Tone was nice. Noticeably louder but not deafening

If you're interested in straight piping, here's what current X5 sounded like with no mufflers and no resonators.
I did it just out of curiosity. The drone was unbearable. Quickly put muffler back on

For the M5 mufflers did you just have mufflers or did you use more M5 piping... I have the Downpipes to mufflers... I need to figure out if I have room underneath for the mid section
