Having my car detailed tomorrow

I got my new car mid August and then went away for a few weeks, Ive haven't washed it since since we got back as I didn't want inflict any paint swirls before it was detailed.

So tomorrow its going a clean and polish and to be coated in a new ceramic based coating. I'll come back and update this post with some photos once its done.

So a good friend of mine details cars as a hobby and offered to help me get my new car prepped for winter so yesterday we spent around 9 hours on the exterior of my car and here are the results.

Before we started

Sorting the wheels with an iron remover to help clean any contamination and remove brake dust.

Snowfoamed before being washed 2 buckets method etc.

The car was then clayed before being washed again and dried ready for polish.

The car was then machine polished with a new polish called Siramic Nano prime to add gloss prepare the paint work for the Siramik glass coat.

The next 3 images are following the polish but before any LSP was applied.

This was the only defect we found on the car but this was soon taken care of.

To be honest, looking at the "before" photo I don't think I would even have bothered :-)

Amazing job though, the car looks like a mirror. Nice work!

Looks amazing, great job! I did my car at the weekend and put some Autoglym HD wax on it .. looks fantastic and love the beading when it rains!
