Inspiration for 19" wheels

Hi Guys

I'm buying my first F11, and i'm getting it the 1/3 2017. It's a used model from 2014.
I'm looking for some 19" wheels, and I need some inspiration from all of you guys.

I would love some pic of :

245/40-19 & 275/35-19
and
245/45-19 & 275/40-19
and if somebody is using:
245/40-19 & 285/35-19

I would like if you put some ET into your pics. and also if it's put to the ground or not. :-)

If you must use 19s, I'd recommend OEM BMW Style 359Ms (E9X M3 ZCP wheels).

I've only seen one set on an F10, and it's this M5 here:

Hi thanks.

It makes sense. Any idea why nearly nobody uses 19's ?? I want 19's because of comfort... Higher profile on the tire, cause of 60K kilometers every Year.

The larger 20s fit the aesthetics of the car better, not to mention it's a good excuse to ditch the OE run-flats at the same time

My car came with OEM 20s and rides the same as my cousin's F10 with OEM 19s. The run flats are a pain is the ass because of the low profile but I went aftermarket anyway and ditched them.

Here you go. 245/40-19 & 275/35-19, on Kelleners Munchen (Munich) style wheels. Wheels are 8.5 x 19 ET 47mm (and ship with 15mm spacers for effective ET of 32mm) and 9.5 x 19 ET 35. I plan on lowering mildly with ACS springs in the near future.

Hi

Makes it a nice look.
Any rubbing with people on the backseat, or with a full load in the trunk ?

Do you have any pics on how the wheel ET looks along the side ?

would these fit on an F10 with xDrive? I've seen some for sale on CL (and they look sharp), but I'm an offset noop.

The ones on the F10 M5 looks like 20", so they're replicas.

The real OEM 359 wheels are 19x9 ET31 and 19x10 ET25. Fronts are fine on the F10, but rears are very aggressive.

Thanks. I reviewed this F10 forum for over four years and considered the many, many wheels styles that are available for the F10. I finally chose these ones last spring. I was mildly concerned that the 47mm offset on the front wheels would reduce their concavity to nothing, but it turns out that the mounting section of the wheel is quite slim, and when compared side-by-side with OEM 351M wheels (19x8.5 / ET33) the concavity is almost identical. The 15mm spacer that Kelleners supplied with the wheels (which by the way are perfect and there is no vibration whatsoever at any speed) takes up the same space as the OEM's extra thick mounting section thickness. The rear wheels, which have the extra 1" width plus the wheel's slimmer mounting section, have a very impressive concavity for a 9.5"-wide wheel. I ordered the wheels with Michelin PSS, and the resultant weight reduction over OEM with Runflats is significant.

I picked up a 2014 535i about 2.5 months ago with the luxury line 19". Ditched standard suspension to go with ACS Springs, Koni FSD, 650 rear sway bar - need all of them for this car. But the finishing touch was ditching the run flats - and going with Michelin Pilot A/S 3+. Makes the ride more supple/less harsh with improved handling. Gets rid of the problems with the standard suspension.

I like all tires with the same size - rotation, longer lasting. The rear wheels wear faster. The only way to rotate a staggered setup is a purchase.

I would go with 20" instead of 19". Got my F11 last year and wanted to go with 19" as i didnt wantede so "big" wheels, but there is no argument in terms of price to go with 19" instead of 20" and my tirepusher keept pushing me to go with with 20" and im glad i did and as many others here ditch those runflat, they are in general just an aweful tire to drive on.

8,5x20 ET35 in front and 10x20 ET35 in the rear, mounted with Falken Fk-453 i 245/35/20” and 285/30/20” and no scrubbing what so ever.

Thanks for Your reply. Your car looks amazing and i'm also a bit insecure about going on 20's
my biggest worry is comfort, and also when I put my camping trailer on, and goes 2000 km south in the summer vacation.

Thanks Torben I was worried about comfort as well but haven't felt any lack in comfort, even going from the original 17", the only thing is that its more stable at higher speeds as well as it corners better. The only drawback is the fuel consumption which of course is higher than the original 17".

Nope stock suspension, from that simple reason that i want to maintain ride comfort, on my long rides trough Europe.
