Just my experience:
We switched from E91 330i (Touring) to F11 535i (also Touring). The 535i has M-Sport suspension, no Active Steering or Dynamic Dampers. With the 20" non-RFT the car corners absolutely well. It drives better then the 330i with M-Sport suspension and 19" which feels a little bit nervous. Regarding power, the 330i was no match to the 535i. In Sport+ and manual gears (paddle shifting with sport auto) the 535i is way faster! And best is, the F11 looks much better and is with the M-Suspension and 20" more comfortable than the E91 with M-Suspension and 19" rims. So finally, in my opinion, switching from 3-series to 5-series is absolutely an improvement, especially if the F10 has the 35i or 50i engine. Last edited by itf joegun; 07-03-2012 at 11:49 PM.. |
