I didn't even try to put my OEM resonator back on and went directly with Vibrants instead. I figured they would be more free flowing and allow more of a sporty note versus the stock resonator.

Trust me, the m-performance exhaust had nowhere close to the amount of sound that my catless, x pipe, m5 muffler setup did. The videos did it no justice. It was LOUD, raspy, cracking, etc. etc. It's much much better now with the resonators.

It does not sound out of place to me. You removed your cat so you'll hear more rasp and more turbo spool. It's normal. |

Thais the Sound of My car. Ok i make an Vetter Video. The turbo whistle does not bother me directly. it's rather the rattling that annoys. I'm already playing with the thought of a 200 to integrate cells kat into the downpipe. What's up with this bottle style resonantor? why do you hate this built-in? sry for the fallen questions only rattles the exhaust so you have to be ashamed with a 30k € car |

the quality of the video is not the best i do a better one. I also find the turbo whistling normal only the metal rattling while driving makes it look choppy. What's up with this Bootle style 1790? if I install these directly after the Y pipe then the rattling disappears |

Just wanted to ask, so I have M5 mufflers in right now and I was thinking about making it a little louder. Would you recommend an X pipe or the vibrant 1790 resonators?
Also, did you buy the x pipe or did the muffler shop just made you one? |

Remove your resonator and put and X Pipe in place. I got the x pipe from the exhaust shop.

I also have bmw f10 n55 with ar catted high flow downpipe. I am debating on whether or not to go with remus exhaust. My only concern would be drone. Can you please let me know if u have any drone with your remus exhaust and ar design downpipe. Also, is the remus exhaust too loud or too quiet or just right? I am looking for conservative with nice tone sound..... Thank you !!!!

No worries bro. I love the way the Remus exhaust sounds but am REALLY worried about drone. Since u have exact same Catted Downpipe as me I can get a good idea of how exactly it's gonna sound. On a scale of 1 to 10. 10 being the worst and 1 being the slightest, where would drone sound be? You say it is barely noticeable but I am just trying to gauge it so I know what to expect after install. $1100 is a lot of money. I do not know why it is so difficult for manufacturers to do this. Considering going with M Performance also. Not sure but in my opinion REMUS exhaust sounds absolutely hands down the best!!!!!!

Hmmm, I think it took about 2.5hrs. Most of the time was around letting the car cool down. I think the install cost was around $225.. not 100% sure. Our DP is in a particular spot, so a bit of a pain. I have AR Catted DP's. Hope it helps.

Shouldn't be more than 1.5-2 hours. We had to pull the whole exhaust off the hangars to get it in (I have a Dr. Euro DP)

Go to 3C exhaust on la cienega and have them take a look. They'll find out the issue if there is one.
