so, I was going to wait to get wheels, but.........
I got a killer deal and pulled the trigger:
savini black di forza bm11 monoblock forged. 20x9 fronts, 20x10.5 rears came with brand new nitto invo tires. as I have said before, it was going to be forged or stocks |

The cool thing is they only make 25 sets of each wheel for this series, and these are serial #1 - they were used for 2 shows, and that's it. The rear tires were replaced after the shows by Nitto (they swapped 275/30/20 for 285/30/20)

The dealer will be repainting the front bumper as part of the sale (there are some scuffs), when they do that I will have them fill the screw holes and put my military plate on a tow hook holder. For the front plate I will put that on my dash when I get my new black and yellow CA plates. |

The rears on the other hand..............They run 285/30/20 tires, and have a 25 offset, so they stick out about 15mm. The fenders may get pulled, and by switching to 275/30/20 tires I can get the clearance I need to keep them fitted well. So far they have only rubbed a little on dips, when I had the stock wheels and tires in the trunk and back. |

The fronts will work perfectly for you, the rears may need a 5mm spacer to sit well, or a 10mm or more spacer if you want a flush look. If you're going tto lower, then yes, a 5mm will be fine.

Yes, definitely 245 in the front. The rear you have a choice, tires seem to be sized like women's dresses. With some brands 285s will fit perfectly, others the 275s fit perfectly. It depends on the brands, and the shape of the sidewall makes a difference as well. Mine look like they have a slight stretch with 285s, however, the sidewall is also curved more inward than other brands that are more squared off. |

Just be aware that you're gambling when you're running a staggered setup on your xdrive. Ideally, run a square setup. If you must, go for 245 fr/285 rr. The overall diameter will be 26.74" front/ 26.74".

****Update****
Yeah, the +25 rear offset was a little too aggressive. I looked at rolling/flaring the fender, but they couldn't do it and make it look good. I looked at shaving the back pad of the wheel, most they could get off was 4 mm - no where near enough. So I caved and bought another 2 rear wheels with +35 offset. I am MUCH happier. |
