Looking for gray/gunmetal wheels for a sophisto grey F10
I just bought a 2011 535i and the M Package wheels (351) on it and not working for me. I think these wheels look great on space metallic grey but I'm not sure they work on sophisto grey. So I want to change to a darker set of wheels and I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions on what to get? If anyone here wants to do a trade, I'm open to suggestions too.

If you like the style, you can also paint them a dark grey or black

Thanks MellowYellow. I checked them out but I was looking for something in the $200 range because I've already spent too much (all because of a stupid mistake) on wheels.
As far as painting the wheels I have, I have no idea how it would look in grey. Anyone seen the 351s painted any color? Also, I wonder if the paint would easy come off these wheels since they don't have a smooth texture |

I guess this is what they would sort of look like. You look long enough, you find anything on the web these days.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/19-GUNMETAL-...91a5d2&vxp=mtr But there a few others that also look good. http://www.ebay.com/itm/19-MATTE-GUN...80939833651%26 http://www.ebay.com/itm/19-MATTE-GUN...6d6e23&vxp=mtr Yes, I know these are replicas but they look like they could look good in grey. |

I've considered getting my Msport wheels powdercoated as well, but probably black since genmetal is too close to the SG car color.
Everyone who negotiated black rims during their F10 order has powdercoated 351M's that BMW had done for them somewhere so it's not some dark art or anything and there are shops that do it all over. It should run under $200 per wheel as well....logistically a pita, (especially if you don't have other wheels to throw on) as you'd have to get tires removed, take the rims to the shop then pick them up and have tires re-mounted, etc....why ordering the car that way to start with makes sense (I wish I had known).

I'm just wondering if the 351s look nice in black. I feel like dark may look nicer with something with more than 5 spokes. LOL, btw, that looks like my car you got in your sig pic.

I've got graphite wheels on my Dark Graphite Mettalic 550i which I think is similar to the sophisto grey F10 color you mention. Hope this helps.
