Alignment question
Im looking to get either the ACS or Dinan springs and am curious if the car has enough alignment room to adjust for the camber change you will see with either the half inch or full inch drop. Considering the cost of tires, it seems prudent to know if camber plates are a necessity.
Thanks! PS: this is a 2011 550i X-drive I'm referring to. |

Camber isn't the tires biggest enemy. A good alignment from a reputable shop, proper tire rotation(if applicable), and not over inflating tires will preserve a majority of the tires normal life even with some negative camber. What really chews tires up is out of spec toe. Whatever springs you choose, just make sure you get your wheels toe adjustment as close to factory specs as possible.
