Drivetrain malfunction ?

2013 535xi m sport. No engine mods. 1900miles.

This morning first time I started the car , engine was running rough and idle hunting. Then the drivetrain malfunction warning came on in the NAV screen. I shut the car off and started again. Everything is back to normal.

Anyone know what might cause this ? Or anyone had similar issue?

oh yeah i had that multiple times, just restart it and it will be ok.
I brought it up to dealer they replaced couple of sensors.
It does it more in cold temperatures, maybe it has something to do with high pressure fuel pump and fuel delivery. if your car is still under warranty then you shouldn't worry about it
